What DIN 32676 Covers
DIN 32676 is the European standard for sanitary clamp pipe connections — the same system the world knows as Tri-Clamp or ferrule clamp fittings. If your plant uses clamp-together stainless fittings, there is a good chance they follow this standard.
The connection has just three parts: two ferrules (welded to the pipe ends), a clamp, and a gasket. The gasket sits between the two flat ferrule faces; the clamp closes around both ferrules and squeezes the gasket into a tight, hygienic seal. No threads in the product zone, no bolts, no crevices — and the whole joint opens in seconds for cleaning. That is why this is the most common sanitary connection in modern food and pharmaceutical plants.

DIN 32676 Gasket Sizes
The gasket size follows the ferrule it seals. One rule above all: the gasket's outer diameter must match the ferrule face diameter exactly. Overhang leaves a flap that traps product; underhang leaves a crevice. Both fail hygiene inspection.

Note how several DN sizes share one ferrule OD — DN10/15/20 all use the 34 mm clamp connection, and DN25/32/40 share the 50.5 mm connection. The sealing section thickness is typically about 3.2 mm (1/8"), giving the right compression when the clamp is tightened by hand.
