AN6227 is an O-ring size standard based on the US military (MIL) specification. It was originally created as an aircraft O-ring series, and it is widely used in many types of equipment for both moving and fixed sealing on cylindrical surfaces.
The standard includes several different cross-sectional thicknesses (wire diameters), covering a broad range of inner and outer diameter sizes.
Every AN6227 size is exactly the same as the corresponding size in the AS568 standard, so the two can be used interchangeably.
